The date is set. You already know you are going to pack things you will not open, move them, pay for them by volume, and find them in a box six months later, at the back of a cupboard you do not know yet.
The one moment when sorting really pays
A move is priced by volume and by time. Every box avoided is a box that is not packed, not carried, not unpacked and not put away. It is also the only occasion in the year when you handle everything you own: whatever you do not sort now, you will simply relocate.
Before you leave
1. Sorting by zone, in order
We start with the storage areas — cellar, garage, utility room, hallway cupboards — where decisions are quick and the volume is high. The living areas come next, once the rhythm is there.
2. Getting out what is not coming
Donations, resale, recycling, bulky waste: whatever has been decided actually leaves the property before the boxes, otherwise it ends up on the van "just in case".
3. Packing by destination, not by room
Boxes are made up and labelled according to the room they are going to and how urgently they need unpacking. That is the difference between two days and two months of settling in.
On arrival
We set up in the order that makes the home liveable fastest: kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms first, deep storage afterwards. Each space gets an organisation designed for the new home — not a copy of the old one, whose constraints no longer apply.
What we do not do
We are not removers: we do not carry furniture and we do not replace your removal company. We work before and after them, on what they do not do — deciding what goes, and making sure arrival is not a second building site.
In practice
The work is scaled to the home: half a day for one key room, one or several days for a whole property. The "whole house, moving" option is part of the price list. A video call (€70, deducted if you go ahead) is enough to line the schedule up with the van.
Prices shown on this site exclude supplies. The "after tax credit" figures are indicative: they assume the work carried out in your home qualifies as a personal service under the French services à la personne scheme (SAP registration being finalised). Your eligibility is confirmed with the quote.
