“How much does it cost?” is usually the first question, and rarely the one that gets a clear answer. Here are the amounts, what they include, and what they do not.

The rates

Two days works out at €400 a day rather than €500: the longer the assignment, the lower the daily rate, because the assessment is not started again each time.

What is included

  • The work itself: sorting, decluttering and setting up the storage, alongside you.
  • The organising plan, designed so that you can keep it going on your own afterwards.
  • Travel within the Alpes-Maritimes and Monaco.
  • Taking away what goes to donation or recycling, as far as one vehicle allows.

What is not included

Worth saying up front — this is where unpleasant surprises usually come from:

  • Storage equipment — bins, boxes, baskets, labels. Rates are quoted excluding equipment. I give you an estimate in the quotation and you buy it yourself: you keep control of the budget, and nothing is resold to you at a mark-up.
  • Long-distance travel — train, plane, long journeys, and accommodation where the assignment requires it.
  • Tradespeople, if your project involves drilling, fitting or assembling anything.

In many cases the equipment costs less than people fear: some of what is needed is already in the house, simply not being used well.

The tax credit: what it can change

Home organising at a private address falls under the French personal services scheme (Services à la Personne). As such, it may qualify for a tax credit of 50% of the sums paid, within the conditions and limits set by law. A €500 day would then come to €250.

Two honest caveats. First, this only applies to work carried out at your home: an assignment in business premises does not qualify. Second, winter way.’s personal services registration is being finalised: I will tell you exactly what applies to your project when we first speak, rather than let you count on a reduction that is not yet secured.

Choosing the right format

The time needed depends on three things: the volume to sort, how cluttered the space is, and how quickly you make decisions — which is often what makes the difference. A dressing room belonging to someone decisive takes half a day; the same room, full of clothes loaded with memories, takes two.

That is why every assignment is quoted individually, after a visit or a video call, with the exact length of each session stated. You are never billed for a surprise.

If you need to cancel

An appointment can be moved or cancelled freely up to 48 hours beforehand. After that, the deposit is retained — the slot can no longer be offered to someone else. The rule works both ways: if I cancel less than 48 hours ahead without good reason, you choose between a free reschedule and a full refund, plus equivalent compensation.

In short
